Poly introduces room solutions for Microsoft Teams Rooms

Explore the new solutions from Poly which include audio and video tools to deliver meeting experiences for users on Microsoft Teams.

Poly’s latest range of ‘product-in-a-box’ solutions family is now a little bigger this week, after the company announced new room solutions designed for conferencing and unified communications.

The Poly G10-T, G40-T and G80-T provide meeting experiences for Microsoft Teams users that include audio and video tools for meeting rooms of any size.

As Microsoft Teams usage increases, Poly believes that there is a deeper need for consistent cloud collaboration experiences across devices – and IT teams should provide devices with flexibility and hybrid capabilities.

“The workforce is currently in transition,” explains Poly’s A/NZ managing director Andy Hurt.

“While a portion will continue working from home several days a week, we will also start seeing more people slowly returning to the office. The office remains core to getting work done, especially to collaborate, and businesses will need to ensure that they have the technology in place to support those on site to ensure optimal productivity.”

Poly Room Solution for Teams Rooms delivers Poly audio and video for Teams, and the company says the devices do not clutter up rooms and result in tangled wires.

“Poly brings our joint customers a broad portfolio of devices, all delivering a consistent Microsoft Teams user experience, and enabling those users to collaborate and communicate easily, quickly, and seamlessly wherever they are working,” comments Microsoft’s Teams devices partner director Ilya Bukshteyn.

Poly’s Room Solution for Teams Rooms comes in a variety of different configurations for different room sizes, depending on individual requirements:

G10-T base kit:

• 10m fibre optic USB cable

G40-T, designed for small to medium-sized rooms:

• Poly GC8 controller

G80-T, designed for medium to large-sized rooms:

The Poly Room Solution for Teams Rooms will begin shipping upon Microsoft Teams certification, to New Zealand from July.
