Integrate 2019 Final Day Blog
Integrate 2019 has come to a close and will be remembered as a year of big product launches, an abundance of educational content and a record number of end user visitors.
The big brands all chose Integrate to unveil their block-buster products to the Australian market. Samsung launched the QLED 8K screen, Microsoft showed the new Surface Hub 2S, Sony showed off the Z9G Master Series 85-inch 8K LED TV and Logitec showed its Zone wireless headphones with wireless Qi charging. Visitors were also treated to the Igloo installation at Epson with its group VR experience.
The Speakers Series finished with a focus on AV over IP with an experienced panel discussing the pros and cons and technology roadmap for AV over IP. CEDIA completed its program of industry training run by their internationally recognised instructors. On the show floor with Tech Talks we had a panel of industry experts talking over the ‘Standards & Licensing Update, Australian Edition’ a session which led to insightful discussion from both speakers and audiences members on regulations within the AV industry. A graphic recorder from Think In Colour created a buzz about the stage, sketching out the discussion live for the audience, highlighting the key points that came out of the seminar.
Also at the show today were students participating in the Tech Crew Challenge. Students from local schools who have established their very own Tech Crew, attend a networking breakfast, where they met Integrate exhibitors and were inspired with an introduction given by the program’s founder, Benny Caswell – AVIXA Oceania Manager.
The CEDIA Awards reception was held last night with the top gong for Best Integrated Home level 4 going to Integrated Technologies Australia for their Hampton Resort home. Another notable winner was Argus Technologies for their incredible fully automated luxury houseboat project.
We look forward to seeing you all again next year in Sydney at Integrate 2020 and thank all our exhibitors, visitors and suppliers.
