With just under a week to go, Integrate’s new Virtual Speaker Series, “An Industry Transformed”, has been confirmed as the event that the industry wants and needs to reconnect the community, create changing conversations and truly looking towards the future of industry innovation.  

In association with AVIXA, this event has been designed with integrators, end-users, suppliers, and manufacturers in mind – offering you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the future of end user markets with specific reference to AV innovation and integration. Our Virtual Speaker Series host, Tim Stackpool, brings his broad expertise working as a media, AV and on-air production systems consultant to the Speaker Series to ask the big questions of our panellists and help celebrate our industry advancement over the 3 days. “Taking Integrate’s education online is really an exciting opportunity for our industry”, says Tim. “Despite the times, we are better placed than most to connect, using this technology.  With 15 topics on offer and 35+ industry experts sharing their advice, insights and experiences, we cover every aspect of the AV world; Mental Health in AV Today addresses the immense challenges that COVID-19 has played on the AV sector, and the impact of working within such a fast-paced industry during a pandemic. Aiming to raise awareness of the mental health conversation in AV, hear from Christine Morgan of National Mental Health Commission, Kylie Naglost of Pro AV Solutions, Craig Glover from Rutledge av, Michael Walker from MCEC and chaired by Graham Evans from Executive Insight.  

Further challenges from COVID-19 can be seen in the physical and built environment of workplaces, and what it takes to tackle these with innovative leadership producing HR shifts. Hear solutions in The Future of Enterprise featuring Robert Hillard of Deloitte Asia Pacific, Angela Ferguson of Futurespace and Riana Steyn of Bartier Perry Lawyers. We also look into the Future of Live Events – with the very human need for social connection and interactivity being essential moving forward, we discuss how the industry can recover from 2020 with Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney Cr Jess Scully, Steve Smith of DG Global and Soren Norgaard from Integrate & Security Events.  

Two particularly relevant sessions for our current state of 2020 are The Future of Healthcare featuring Michelle Rennie, CIO of The Royal Children’s Hospital – how will COVID-19 impact the future design of healthcare technology and IT infrastructures and what have we learnt already that we can adapt going forward? The Future of Government and Infrastructure focuses on the changes in the last 12 months from bushfires to cyber threats to securing systems and cloud based data storage. The AV Community has been instrumental in designing and installing the systems to facilitate the new normal; join Claudio Cardile of Barco Australia & NZ, Nick Orsatti of Fredon Technology and James Riley of InnovationAus to discuss the ‘new normal’, what we’ve learnt and where to from here.
