Speaker Profile

James has a long academic and business background in immersive technologies. He spent many years looking into the usability of immersive displays and as a computational cognitive neuroscientist trying to teach a computer about attention. Following this he was the lead software engineer and CTO at Igloo Vision a company specialising in Immersive Displays. During this role he's worked to develop their cutting edge Igloo Core Engine, an operating system for immersive spaces. He's also lead the technical elements of implanting immersive technology in a wide range of projects across all business areas especially training and education.
