Over the past decade, classroom technology has transformed dramatically, and so has Vivi. In this session, Alysander reflects on Vivi’s journey from a simple wireless screen-sharing solution to a platform supporting teaching, communication, engagement, and school-wide initiatives. Drawing on insights gained from working with thousands of K–12 classrooms, the presentation will explore what truly drives successful technology adoption and why the most valuable solutions are often those that simplify life for IT and AV teams while helping teachers focus on student learning.
The session will also examine how technology’s role in schools has expanded beyond the classroom to support campus-wide communication, safety, and community engagement. Looking forward, he will discuss the growing impact of AI in education, sharing practical opportunities for schools while highlighting the importance of governance, privacy, and appropriate safeguards. Attendees will gain real-world insights into how schools can embrace emerging technologies in ways that are meaningful, sustainable, and centred on teaching and learning.
