Richard left the Yorkshire seaside town of Scarborough in 1986, and forged a career promoting Pro Sound News Europe, Pro Sound News Asia, and Installation Europe between 1995 and 2002.
In April 2002 he founded Pro Audio Asia, followed by Pro Audio Middle East in 2004 and Worship Audio Asia in 2006. Over the past 22 years, the print titles have grown, assumed new AVL titles to reflect the industry’s dynamic technology and have an online presence. Digitally, Richard spearheaded a more video-centric publishing direction and Pro AVL Central now creates a wide range of integral and commissioned works. In recent years, Richard has hosted and moderated several topical conversations and product launch discussions both in person and remotely.
