Paul Jeffrey has been the chairman of the PSSA for over 4 years. The PSSA is the trade association for companies involved in the supply and installation of products designed to provide high levels of physical protection and intruder detection for sites and their external perimeters in all circumstances where terrorist or criminal attack is a perceived risk.

Paul is also a Senior Strategy Consultant with Palo Consulting International where he has been for over 4 years. Prior to that he was the Managing Director for Avon Barrier Corporation and the CEO of the Manufacturers of high security vehicle blocking systems. He has held senior positions in security, physical security and security management, including Founder Director of PSSA (9 years).

Paul has been involved in perimeter protection for almost 30 years and through Avon Barrier, developed one of the largest range of HVM products in the UK. Avon Barrier were the first UK company to test a number of products including roadblockers, barriers and gates and were at the forefront of the wave of UK manufacturers becoming involved in HVM.

During his time at PSSA as Chairman, the association size has increased significantly and now has chapters around the world including Australia.
