Kathy has worked within the AV industry for 20+ years.
She currently oversees Extron Australia’s Education Sales.
Throughout her career Kathy has been closely aligned with the use of AV and ICT in education having previously led the AV team at the University of Technology Sydney.
The use of technology in learning has been a key focus for her, this has been combined with an awareness of the value of learning and development of staff. This has included running InfoComm and AVIXA training courses for her team and colleagues within the Higher Ed sector and also through her involvement with the association for Audiovisual and Education Technology Management (AETM) through developing the program and training sessions for the annual national conference.
She volunteers with AVIXAs Certification Team, reviewing and preparing CTS content.
She was part of the initial ANZ Women in InfoComm Network and continues to be an active member of the Oceania AVIXA Women’s Council.
