CHRIS DELANEY is a highly regarded Workplace Relations professional with over
40 years’ experience in Industrial Relations and Human Resources. During his career in IR Chris has held senior executive Industrial Relations positions with Nestle & BHP. He has provided advice to ASIAL and its members for the past 25 years and has a thorough understanding of workplace relations issues affecting the security industry.
Chris has represented ASIAL in several Ministerial Enquiries into the Cash in Transit Industry, the review of Modern Awards and negotiations for the Queensland Commonwealth Games Enterprise Bargaining Agreement covering 4500 security guards.
Chris founded CD&A in 1993, - t/as Workplace Relations Specialists - providing assistance and representation to hundreds of organisations across a diverse range of industries, including: security, manufacturing, technology, transport, education, travel and tourism, hospitality, health care, the Police Service, advertising and State and Federal Government.
CD&A provide training for managers and supervisors through workshops seminars and webinars. Chris is often called upon to comment on contemporary Workplace Relations issues and writes for a range of industry magazines and newsletters including The Security Insider Magazine.
